Robert Paton (c. 1854 – 17 February 1905) was a Scottish footballer who played as a forward.

Career

Born in Bonhill, Paul played club football for Vale of Leven, and made two appearances for Scotland in 1879.[2] He was a founder member of Vale of Leven[2] and was part of the teams that won the Scottish Cup in 1877, 1878 and 1879.[1]

Personal life

His younger brother Daniel was also a footballer.[2]
