Robert Ehrlich (businessman)

Robert Ehrlich is an American entrepreneur and an ex-commodities trader, he founded Robert's American Gourmet Food, a manufacturer of organic snack foods.

Ehrlich started his company after seeing a bag of cheese puffs that contained no cheese, which inspired the Pirate's Booty line of snacks, eventually growing to a $50 million business.[1]

In 2015, Robert Ehrlich sued his former partners, accusing them of acting against him in the sale of Pirate Brands. According to Forbes, some of the allegations were "outlandish and bizarre," including a reference to a praying mantis.[2]
