Robert P. "Rob" Bauer (born 1962) is the Royal Netherlands Navy lieutenant admiral. He is since 5 October 2017 the Chief of Defence (Dutch: Commandant der Strijdkrachten)[1]. He was the Vice Chief of Defence of the Armed forces of the Netherlands from 1 September 2015 until 13 July 2017.[2]
Personal Life
He is Married to Maaike, and they have three children.
