Enrico "Ricky" Januarie (born 2 January 1982), formerly of the Lions, signed with the Stormers in the Super 14 for the 2008 Super 14 season. He currently plays for Agen in the Top 14. He was also a member of the South Africa squad. He announced his retirement from international rugby on 24 July 2011.

Career

Januarie was one of the top players of his high school team, Weston High School in Vredenburg, South Africa. He scored the match winning try against the All Blacks in a 2008 Tri Nations Series test in Dunedin which the Springboks won 30–28 by running around the ruck and chipping the ball over the opposing fullback to score. In November 2009 he joined the Welsh regional team the Ospreys on a three-month loan arrangement.

Januarie currently plays as scrum-half for the French side La Rochelle after his move from Lyon OU in June 2015.
