Rick Roberts (commentator)
Rick Roberts is an American conservative talk radio host currently on WBAP (AM) in the Dallas/Fort Worth market. He can be heard on air immediately following the nationally syndicated Rush Limbaugh Show, from 2pm to 5pm.[1] He was formerly on KTOK AM in Oklahoma City during morning drive, 5am to 8am.[2]
Roberts was previously heard on KKFT 99.1 FM Gardnerville, Nevada from 9am-noon, 760 KFMB in San Diego, California from 6 am to 9am weekdays.[3] He had been on the air in San Diego since the 1990s.[4]
He was often joined on-air by his producers "Christine" and "David". Also, he filled in for Michael Savage on a regular basis as a commentator on the radio program The Savage Nation.
During his radio shows, he often makes a point to call out names of known sexual offenders living in the city from which he broadcasts.
According to a March 2009 LA Times article, Roberts is one of several conservative talk radio hosts in California to have a weekly audience of more than 100,000.[5]
Before landing on the West Coast, Roberts worked at several top-rated talk radio stations including Kansas City's KCMO and Dallas' KRLD. His first stop in San Diego was KOGO-AM/KSDO.
