Richard Reid[1] (born 29 September 1984) is a British actor, comedian and producer who has featured in various films and television shows. He is best known for his roles in Love, Wedding, Marriage (2011), Criminal and as best friend of Prince William, in the film William & Kate.

Reid attended the Reading Blue Coat School and the Redroofs Theatre School in Berkshire. He later became a member of The National Youth Theatre in London [2] and graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara.

Reid currently serves as the International Executive Creative Director of BuzzFeed and is Executive Producer and co-host of Worth It - UK [3]

Career

In 2011, Reid was cast as Mandy Moore's brother in the romantic comedy Love, Wedding, Marriage. His film credits also include William & Kate, Tulip Fever, Criminal with Kevin Costner, Sony Pictures' Austenland, which was part of the 2013 Sundance Film Festival,[4] Flutter, the Renny Harlin-directed horror film Devil's Pass,[5] and The Legend of Hercules.[6]

Reid's recent films include There's Always Woodstock, The Brits Are Coming, Battle Drone and The Weinstein Company's Woman in Gold.

Reid's television credits include the series NCIS (2012 episode "The Good Son"), Sky TV's America's Elite which he produced, and guest starring in Spike TV's Deadliest Warrior.[7]

Reid currently serves as Executive Creative Director for BuzzFeed, International and has led many thought leadership talks on the subject of Creativity and content making in the digital age. [8] [9]
