Ricardo Eduardo Latcham Cartwright (Bristol, England, March 5, 1869 - Santiago, Chile, October 16, 1943) was an archaeologist, ethnologist, folklore scholar and teacher. He is known for his work on Mapuches, Diaguitas[1] and Changos. His work earned him membership in the Royal Anthropological Institute of Great Britain and Ireland.

He is the father of Anglo-Chilean writer and historian Ricardo A. Latcham.
