Ren Shibamoto (芝本 蓮, Shibamoto Ren, born 22 July 1999) is a Japanese professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Gamba Osaka's reserve team, Gamba Osaka U-23, in the J3 League.[1][2]

Club career

Born in Osaka Prefecture, Shibamoto joined local side Gamba Osaka as a youth. He was included in the club's under-23 side for the 2017 season, and made his debut on April 15, 2017, coming on as a half time substitute for Takahiro Ko in a 0–2 defeat to Nagano Parceiro.[3][4]
