Reham Khan is a 2018 controversial memoir written by Reham Khan.[1] She is the former wife of Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan.[1] It was published on July 10, 2018 before Pakistani general election, 2018. The book was published by the SK Publications in Pakistan and HarperCollins Publishers in India.

Allegations

Reham called Imran Khan free-loader as he never bought any vegetables. Instead, he got them free from political colleagues like Jahangir Khan Tareen and Tariq Fazal Chaudhary.[2][3] Other allegations revolve around corruption of Pervez Khattak and privatization scheme of Asad Umar in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.[3] She also alleged Khattak of using marijuana.[3]

She alleged Khan of drug addiction and claimed that Khan had possession of drugs like tranquillisers including benzodiazepines like Xanax and Lexotanil and banned Rohypnol.[3]

Regarding Khan sexual life, she alleged that Khan has gay tendencies and had a relationship with his close friend Moby despite being married to her.[3] The book claims that Khan had sexual relationship with Uzma Kardar, Andleeb Abbas and trangender model Rimal Ali which she denied.[4] She wrote that Kardar regularly did sexting to Khan.[3] She further claimed that Khan told her of threesome he did in 1980s with singer Grace Jones and rock-model.[3] Regarding children, she said that Khan told her that he had five illegitimate children other than Tyrian White and oldest of them is 34 years old and few of them include Indian women.[3][5]

Reham also claimed that Khan is a staunch believer of black magic, and practices it at his residence.[6]

Reaction

A few days before the book was released, actor Hamza Ali Abbasi claimed that he had read a manuscript and criticized the book for being biased. Reham pointed out the fact that the book had been read illegally and claimed that Abbasi had been threatening her. This was followed by a number of accusations and quarrells between the two on Twitter.[7][8] Reham Khan was served with legal actions from people whom she accused of sexual allegations. She was sued by her former first husband Ijaz Rehman, former cricketer Wasim Akram, Zulfi Bukhari and Anila Khawaja.[9] Later, Imran Khan said in an interview that his marriage with Reham was his biggest mistake.[10] Reham denies that there are any cases filed against her by saying that those are just social media threats.[11]
