Rebecca Renner

Rebecca Renner is an author, journalist, book critic and social media influencer. She was born on April 18, 1990 in Gainesville, Florida to Renee Roberts Renner and Kenneth Albert Renner, who were running the race horse farm Arabian Nights Farm in Ocala, Florida at the time. Renner is a seventh-generation Floridian and a devoted conservationist whose work centers around Florida, its natural habitats and culture.

She later went on to attend Stetson University and graduated with the class of 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. In that time, Renner was mentored by Mark Powell, Terri Witek, and Andy Dehnart. In 2018, she also received an MFA from Stetson University's MFA of the Americas. There, she created the MFA's literary journal, Obra/Artifact,[2] and she studied with various fiction writers including Laurie Foos and Chantel Acevedo.
