Razan[2] (Persian: رزن) is a city and capital of Razan County, Hamadan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 11,390, in 2,871 families.[3] The people of this town speak Azeri Turkish.[4][5] There are a lot of famous persons and celebrities from this county such as: Molla-Ali Masoumi, Dr. Mohammad Mofatteh, Mohyedin Anvari, Mohammad Piran, Mostafa Rahmandost, Sedighe Vasmaghi, Ghorbanali Namdari, Hossein Nori-Hamdani, Dr. Nosrati, MirzaHasan Razini et al.,
