Raymond Tabern (birth unknown), also known by the nickname of "Ray", is a rugby union, and professional rugby league footballer of the 1980s. He played club level rugby union (RU) for Leigh RUFC, and representative level rugby league (RL) for Great Britain, and at club level for Leigh (Heritage № 892),[2] Fulham RLFC, and Workington Town, as a hooker, i.e. number 9.

Ray Tabern won a cap as a interchange/substitute while at Leigh in Great Britain's 7-8 defeat by France in the friendly at Stadio Pierluigi Penzo, Venice on Saturday 31 July 1982.[1]

County Cup Final appearances

Ray Tabern played hooker and was man of the match in Leigh's 8-3 victory over Widnes in the 1981 Lancashire County Cup Final during the 1981–82 season at Central Park, Wigan on Saturday 26 September 1981.
