Ravulapalem is a Mandal in East Godavari district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Two tributes of Godavari river named Gautami Godavari & Vasista Godavari passes from either side of the town. This place has rich fertile land with Alluvial soil. it is also called as Gateway of Konaseema. Ravulapalem town is famous for its banana yard which is the biggest in Asia. It has a wide variety of banana plantations in surrounding villages where there will be different banana varieties like chakrakeli, karpuram, bushavali etc. It is a famous place for pot biryani which is very good at the popular restaurants like vindhu, victory etc. It has 3 movie theatres like padmashri, Venkateswara and Akshara for entertainment. A bus stand exists at the centre of the town from where buses will be running to cities like be Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Bengaluru etc. Famous sterling dindi resorts are at a distance 45 km from ravulapalem. There konasema nursery and konasema palakova exists at the entrance of the town. CRC club in ravulapalem is a venue for so many mathematical, arts competitions held by zonal schools management and also has marriage function halls. There are famous temples like Venkateswara swami temple with koneruu and Sai Baba temple and shivalayam. Nearby municipalities are Tanuku, Rajahmundry, Amalapuram and Kakinada, which are well connected by road. Nearest railway stations include Tanuku and Rajahmundry, which are both 28 km away. Nearest airport is in Madhurapudi, Rajahmundry.

The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation operates bus services from Ravulapalem bus station. It operates from Ravulapalem to Kakinada, Rajahmundry, Tanuku, Eluru, Amalapuram, Razole and Hyderabad [1]

Infrastructure

Jonnada bridge is constructed on "Gautami Godavari" river towards Rajahmundry and Sidhantham bridge is constructed on "Vasista Godavari" river towards Tanuku, these two bridges helped in improving the economy of this place.
