Ratu Felisha Renatya (born 16 October 1982) better known as Ratu Felisha or Feli is an Indonesian model and actress, known for The Chanting (2006), Something in the Way (2013) and Badoet (2015).[2]

Biography

Early life

Felisha was born in Jakarta on October 16, 1982 from Bantenese parents, Tubagus Ari Yasin and Freya Rekardini.[3]

Personal life

Since 2006, Feli has adopted a child, Dasha Godiva, whom she has considered her own daughter.[4] Feli married Franciscus Emmanuel bin Korsten George aka Jules Korsten on December 24, 2008.[5] But they finally decided to divorce in January 2012. After divorce with Jules Korsten, Feli moved to Bali.[6] Then Feli remarried with a lawyer named Ari Pujianto on April 30, 2016[7] and decided to follow the In vitro fertilisation program but failed.[8]

Career

Feli, as she fondly called began her career in the entertainment world when she became a model. The sexy poses of Feli once adorned the adult magazine FHM. Then she starred in her first soap opera (tv series) Gerhana. Another soap opera starring Feli include Si Cecep, Inayah, Putri yang Terbuang and others.[3]

In 2004, Feli explored the widescreen world and the first movie she starred is Buruan Cium Gue (Hurry Kiss Me).[2] This film had become controversial because it is considered to have influence on young people.[9] Buruan Cium Gue film is busy discussed after Abdullah Gymnastiar (Aa Gym, Indonesian Islamic scholars) with the board of Indonesian Ulema Council and a number of artists came to the Office of Lembaga Sensor Film (LSF, Film Censorship Institution) on Thursday, August 19, 2004. Aa Gym asks LSF to suspended the movie Buruan Cium Gue across Indonesia.[9]

In 2006, with Julie Estelle and Evan Sanders, Feli played as an antagonist figure in the horror film titled Kuntilanak (the Chanting) directed by Rizal Mantovani with Raam Punjabi as the producer.[10] This film successfully catapulted the name of Ratu Felisha in the entertainment world of Indonesia. [2]
