Dargahi Singh Bhati

Dargahi Singh Bhati was a Gurjar chieftain of Dadri Bhatner Riyasat.

In 1818, he owned 133 villages at a fixed revenue of Rs. 29,000 with capital in Kathera village, Noida, Gautam Buddh Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh state of India.

A fort at Parikshitgarh in Meerut District, also known as Qila Parikishatgarh from Mughal emperor in the eighteenth century, and 277 villages he possessed by his own funds.

During this era he ruled all over Noida, Greater Noida and parts of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.[1]

Death

In 1828, The British East India Company's troops attacked at night, killed him and took over all his wealth, his fort, and 5,000 hectares of land.
