Rantau is a state constituency in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, that has been represented in the Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly.
The state constituency was first contested in 1959 and is mandated to return a single Assemblyman to the Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly under the first-past-the-post voting system. Since 2004, the State Assemblyman for Rantau is Mohamad Hasan from the BN. In the 2018 elections, Mohamad Hasan won the seat uncontested.[2]
Definition
The Rantau constituency contains the polling districts of Kampong Sendayan, Sendayan, Taman Kelab Tuanku, Kampong Mambau, Kampong Bemban, Kuala Sawah, Kampong Sri Lalang, Kampong Sega, Pekan Sagga, Rantau, Linsum and Kampong Siliau. [3]
