Ranjan Abraham

Ranjan Abraham is an award-winning Indian film editor who predominantly works in Malayalam films. He had edited over 100 Malayalam films.[1]

Mr. Ranjan Abraham is one of the best film editors in south India. He has never made us bother about the technicalities of editing in his films. His shaping up never makes us conscient about edit lapses and specializes in smooth a transition which makes film viewing a smoother experience than never before. Seeing his films has always made us realize that editing is an art, not a technical job.

Having debuted with Lal Jose in Oru Maravathoorkanavu way back in 1995, he is a regular in every award functions as a recipient of best in editing. Working with the best of the industry and being a regular of directors like Lal Jose, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Renjith, Johny Antony, Roshan Andrrews and Joshy, his creativity got a sharp boost up with these acquaintances.

Mr. Ranjan Abraham is from Kerala and now stays at Valsarvakom, Chennai with his wife and daughter.

In an era of heavy effects and boiling down to gain speeds, Ranjan Abraham reminds us the classic nature of what editing must be. His best includes Meesa madhavan, Classmates,Udayananu Tharam, C.I.D.Moosa, Raavanaprabhu and Thattathin Marayathu to name a few. Hailing as the number one in Malluwood, doesn't make Ranjan Abraham any other than a more concerned , cool and straight hearted person who always smiles more than he speaks. have an enchanting session with him on his personal views about the unadulterated art of shaping a movie.[2]
