manoj Tewatia (born 20 May 1993) is an Indian cricketer. A left-handed batsman, Tewatia currently plays for Haryana in the Ranji Trophy.

Career

Haryana

Tewatia made his debut for Haryana during the 2013–14 Ranji Trophy on 6 December 2013 against Karnataka at the Bansi Lal Cricket Stadium.[1] He managed 17 runs total in his two appearances at bat.[1] He made his List A debut for Haryana in the 2016–17 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 25 February 2017.[2]

Indian Premier League

Before the 2014 Indian Premier League, the Rajasthan Royals bought Tewatia for 10 lakhs.[3]

In February 2017, he was bought by the Kings XI Punjab team for the 2017 Indian Premier League for 25 lakhs.[4] In January 2018, he was bought by the Delhi Daredevils in the 2018 IPL auction.[5]He is not a great turner of the ball, being a wrist spinner. He often tends to bowl short, thus being inconsistent.

He is also a handy left-handed batsman down the order and can chip in with some handy runs besides bowling some good wrist spin. Tewatia can also be an attacking option up the order if given chance.
