Rahul Madhav is an Indian actor who mainly appears in Malayalam language films.[1][2] He has also acted in Tamil films.[3] His notable films are Vaadamalli, Thani Oruvan and Bangkok Summer.[4][5]

Acting career

Rahul Madhav made his debut in the industry with the Tamil movie Adhe Neram Adhe Idam , directed by M.Prabhu who was the associate director of S.J. Surya. He made a good opening with this movie.Later he got an offer from Tamil industry to play the lead role in Yugam , directed by Sribavansekar. During the shooting of this movie he got an offer from Mollywood to present one of the lead character in the movie Bangkok Summer (2011), which was directed by Pramod Pappan. However Vadamalli gave him recognition. Later Rahul and Richa Panai was paired for the third time in a film ,however the film didn't see limelight.

Rahul got a breakthrough in his acting career after presenting the lead role in the Malayalam movie Lisamayude Veedu, directed by Babu Janardhanan and which was released in 2013. In which he presented the character Sivankutty while Meera Jasmine played opposite to him. His performance was excellent and many film personalities had noticed him. Actor Prithviraj had suggested him to Jeethu to play a supporting character in the thriller movie Memories.

Later he had appeared in many Malayalam and Tamil films. His role in Thani Oruvan was well applauded. Rahul made his debut in Kannada industry with the movie Kiragorina Gayyaligalu, directed by D. Sumana Kittur and which was released in 2016.

In 2017 he had six releases in Malayalam and has signed his first film in Tulu titled Kudla Connection.His upcoming films include Oxygen , Naam , Njn Mallu and Velakkariyayirindalum ni yen mohavally which will release in 2018.
