Production
NHK announced the series on January 31, 2018. The series is an adaptation of French author Tony Valente' comic book series Radiant, which is published in Japan by Asukashinsha.[1] The series is directed by Seiji Kishi and Daisei Fukuoka and written by Makoto Uezu, with animation by studio Lerche.[1] Character designs for the series are produced by Nozomi Kawano, and Masato Kōda is composing the series' music.[2] The opening theme song is "Utopia" by 04 Limited Sazabys.[3] The ending theme song is "Radiant" by Polkadot Stingray.[4]
Release
The 21-episode series premiered on NHK Educational TV in October 6, 2018.[2][3] The series will be simulcast by Crunchyroll,[5] with Funimation streaming the simuldub.[6]
