Rachel Specter (born April 9, 1980) is an American writer, producer and actress. She is a producer on the CW television show, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. As an actress, she is best known for the role of Courtney in The House Bunny. She has also guest-starred in episodes of How I Met Your Mother, Gilmore Girls, What I Like About You, and Entourage, as well as co-hosted the April 4, 2007 episode of Attack of the Show![1] and a segment of The Feed on May 23. In September 2008, Specter began co-starring in the web series Long Distance Relationship on Crackle.[2]

Life and career

Specter was born in Tampa, Florida. She graduated from the University of Florida with honors.

She has written episodes of One Tree Hill, Cougar Town and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

Specter appeared as one of the actresses for the Sunsilk Color Showdown ad campaign.[3] She has shot six commercials for RGX, four of which have aired. She has also appeared in one of Jack Links' "Messin' with Sasquatch" commercials.[4]
