Rachel Chikwamba is a Zimbabwean plant geneticist. She is the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) Group Executive: Strategic Alliances and Communication. Dr Chikwamba's research involves Plant manufactured pharmaceuticals and Metabolic engineering.[2] [3] [4] Sorghum, maize and banana's are among some the plants she has worked on. She is an active member of the Academy of Science of South Africa.[5]
