Current use

The site is now in use as an industrial estate, which takes up most of the old runway and the rifle range that was also there. The Caledonian Stadium, home to Inverness Caledonian Thistle F.C. sits roughly on where the runway ended, albeit, in the Moray Firth, as the base stretched to the then coastline which became reclaimed land in the decades following closure.
