Quintype is a media technology company based in Bengaluru, India. The company is known for its Quintype Publishing Platform, a Headless CMS that allows publishers and content marketers to publish, analyze, and monetize content in a cloud, fully integrated platform. Quintype is a full-stack SaaS platform based Content management system which includes front-end and back-end development and also offers developer services.

In September 2014, it was announced that the company secured $3.25M funding from Raghav Bahl, known as India's Rupert Murdoch.[1][2] In May 2016, BloombergQuint announced that they will use the Quintype platform. In January 2016,[3] Forbes published an article written by Amit Rathore "Who Will Win The Publishing Battle in 2016" [4]

In November 2015, Mother.ly, a new media start-up for millennial mothers, launched their site on the Quintype platform to create and deliver personalized content to their customers without an in-house technology team.[5] In December 2015, Swarajya Magazine, an Indian magazine launched by C Rajagopalachari, announced that they will use the Quintype platform for their online site.[6] Other online media companies who have successfully launched using the Quintype platform include The Quint (India's Huffington Post), National Herald, Fortune India, Swarajya, Sakshi Post, South Live and Climate Desk.

In Sep 2018, India’s premier business and financial news brand BloombergQuint and the leading news and commentary portal Swarajya both supported by Quintype have won Bronze and a Gold at WAN IFRA South Asia Digital Media Awards 2018.

Bloomberg Quint (BQ) bagged the award for the best ‘Social Media Engagement’ and Swarajya has been awarded for the best ‘Reader Revenue Initiative’. The awards, presented by the World Association of Newspaper and Publishers (WAN-IFRA), recognise the best-practice innovation in the digital publishing.[7]

Quintype was founded by Amit Rathore, who previously co-founded and sold Runa to Staples Inc in October 2013, in September 2014.[8][9][10]
