Quick Lane Tire and Auto Center is a global automotive chain that provides oil changes, tire rotation, multi-point inspections and other express services.[1] Currently headquartered in Dearborn, MI, Quick Lane is owned by Ford Motor Company.
History
Founded in 1997, Quick Lane has 815 stores in the United States[2] and several international locations in the UK, China[3], Middle East, Central America, Asia Pacific, Canada and South America.[4][5] Quick Lane was launched as a pilot program in 1997 by Ford Motor Company. Some stores are stand-alone operations or some are attached to the dealership.[6][7][8]
Services
Quick Lane offers routine vehicle auto services including oil and filter changes, light repair services such as brake repairs and tire replacement.[9]
Community involvement
Quick Lane Bowl
For the fourth year in a row, Quick Lane Tire & Auto Center sponsored the Quick Lane Bowl, a premier college football bowl game held in Detroit, MI.[10] The annual bowl game aired on ESPN.[11] In 2017, the Duke Blue Devils won the bowl 36-17 against Northern Illinois.[12]
NASCAR sponsorship
Quick Lane was a sponsor of the Wood Brothers No. 21 Motorcraft/Quick Lane Ford Fusion driven by Ryan Blaney in the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. In 2018, Paul Menard will be the new driver of the No. 21 car. Blaney will transition to Team Penske.[13]
