Qin: The Warring States

Qin: The Warring States is a role-playing game published by Cubicle 7 in 2007.

Description

Qin: The Warring States is a wuxia role-playing game, set in China during the Warring States period.

Publication history

Qin was a deeply thematic wuxia game by French publisher 7ème Cercle. The core rulebook, Qin: The Warring States (2006), had already been published in English by 7ème – and had already won the 2007 ENnie Silver Award for Best Game. Toward the end of 2007, Cubicle 7 announced that they would be publishing English translations of the Qin RPG line as their next license after Starblazer Adventures, and their fourth RPG line. Cubicle 7 began to sell 7ème’s core Qin book at once, and from there, they planned to translate and publish the follow-up supplements themselves, which took two years.[1]:429

Qin was translated from the French publisher "Le Septième Cercle". The French Qin was published in 2005.
