Putting Hartlepool First is a localist political party based in the English city of Hartlepool. It is officially registered with the Electoral Commission as Hartlepool Independents - Putting Hartlepool First.[1]
The party was registered in 2011. As of 2017, it has three councillors on Hartlepool Borough Council.[2][3] The party does not operate a whip, leaving its councillors "free to vote based on their own knowledge and experience."[4]
