"Push It" is the first single from the industrial metal band Static-X's first album, Wisconsin Death Trip. "Push It" is one of Static-X's best known and most popular songs. Also is credited, along with "I'm with Stupid", for making Wisconsin Death Trip Static-X's best-selling album. The song is a combination of most effects of the industrial metal genre along with the band's self-described "evil disco". The music video for "Push It" was directed by Mick Olszewski and introduces shots of clay animation creatures similar to those found in Tool videos, interspersed with the band performing.

Music and lyrics

The song talks about being self-strong, not giving up. The song begins and concludes with heavier segments with screamed vocals, while its middle section is more atmospheric and melodic.
