Puffin Browser is a web browser released by CloudMosa for mobile operating systems Android, iOS, Windows and Android TV. It was released sometime before October 2013 and it uses a split architecture where some of the processing is performed on encrypted cloud servers to improve webpage loading performance and reduce bandwidth use. As a result of the pages being processed on cloud servers, the IP address reflects the cloud server's IP address and some websites might detect the browser to be a proxy server. For instance, users cannot edit Wikipedia using Puffin because Wikipedia detects Puffin to be a proxy server.

Puffin comes with Adobe Flash Player to play flash content, especially on mobile devices, where Flash was discontinued due to security issuses.[1] It also comes with virtual trackpad, gamepad, and on screen keyboard functions.[2]

Puffin Browser also has a Lite and a Pro version.
