Pseudepidalea is a genus of toads in the family Bufonidae, the true toads. This genus was erected in 2006 and includes several toads previously classified in genus Bufo.[1] It may include the common European green toad (Pseudepidalea viridis), but this is still under debate.[2]

The genus has a wide distribution, with species in Asia, Europe, and North Africa.

There are approximately 16 species.[3]
