Proraso is an Italian multi-national personal care and grooming company that was founded in 1908 by Ludovico Martelli in Florence. They produce men's barber supplies and specializing in scented shaving products,[1] They have five different fragrant product line's; including their original flagship shaving soap and shaving cream with eucalyptus. The product presented in a green bowl is designed specifically for general use, whilst the shaving soap and cream presented in the white bowl is designed for sensitive skin, whilst the red packaging is for the tougher and coarse beards. There is also a blue line and a yellow line (the latter is seemingly not sold in North America).

The company's pre-shave cream has been in production since 1948.[2]
