Progressive Party (Thai: พรรคก้าวหน้า; RTGS: Phak Gow Na) is the first political party in Thailand.
History
Progressive Party (1945-1946)
Progressive Party founded in 1945 by Kukrit Pramoj and important person such as Suwitt Pansed, Sor Sethabud, Boontheng Thongsawat. Group person is opposite option for Khana Ratsadon and many person join Boworadet rebellion[2] In 1946 Progress Party split for Democrat Party.[3]
Progressive Party (1983-1990)
Progressive Party founded again in 10 December 1980 and registration of political party in 22 March 1983 by Uthai Pimjaichon. In the 1983 general election the Progress Party won three seats , In the 1986 general election the Progress Party won seven seats and In the 1988 general election the Progress Party won eight seats. In 1990 Progress Party split party with Unity Party.[4]
Progressive Party (1998)
Provgressive Party founded again in 31 September 1998[5] by Suwat Yomchinda is leader.
