Priyanka Gope is a Bangladeshi singer.[1][2] She won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer for her performance in the film Anil Bagchir Ekdin (2015).[3] It was her debut as a playback singer.[4]

Early life and education

Gope was trained under Ananda Chakrabarty, Asit Roy, Waheedul Haq, Subir Nandi, Subhra Guha and Falguni Mitra. She completed her M.A. from the Department of Music at Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata. She is an enlisted A-Grade artist of Bangladesh Betar in Rabindra Sangeet, Nazrul Sangeet and classical music categories.[5]

Career

Gope teaches at the Music Department of the University of Dhaka.[4] As of 2017, she has released four solo albums including classical albums Sure Sure Dekha Hobe and Raga Delights from Bengal Foundation.[6]
