Priyadharshini is an Indian Tamil actress, TV anchor and news reader. She has acted in several Kollywood films. As a child actor, she acted in Dhavani Kanavugal (1984), Kaval Kaidigal (1984), Naagam, Naga Devatha (Telugu), Kuttravaaligal, Idhya Kovil, Uyire Unakkaga and Idyathai Thirudathey. She has done more than 1000 television and stage shows, and has anchored for TV channels such as Sun TV, Vijay TV, Zee Tamil, Kalaignar TV and Surya TV (Malayalam).

She is multi-lingual, and can speak Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and English.

She appeared on Maanada Mayilada as a participant and won the main prize with Bala and the choreographer Mani.[1] She then danced in another reality show of Vijay TV, Boys vs Girls, and won the award "Best Female Dancer".

She is a trained classical dancer, having learned Bharathanatyam from guru Madurai R. Muralidharan and Manimegalai for 15 years, kuchipudi from Guru Kalyani and Kathak from Guru Jigyasa Giri. She has performed in various dances all over the world with her gurus.

In Veera Thai Velu Nacchair she donned the role of Kuyili. She played Vaanamadevi in Sivagamiyin Sabatham, Kaikeyi in Ramayanam, and performed in Sense Beyond and Vidhi Vazli Madhi dance dramas. She also teaches dance at AIMA, following the footsteps of her guru "Padma Bhushan" T.V.G Avargal, and she runs a dance school, Dharshini Dance Academy (DDA).

She started her career at 1998 on the DD Podhigai TV Mega serial Vizhudugal. She acted in various other serials such as Kolangal and Rekha IPS. Her sister Divyadarshini, is also a TV anchor and television actress.[2]
