Priscilla Kelly is an American professional wrestler, valet,[1] and former actress. She is best known for her appearances in Shine Wrestling where she is a former Shine Nova Champion.[3]

Early life

In 2012, when Kelly was 14 she was part of season one of My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding on the episode "14 and Looking for Mr. Right" where she was the main focus in the episode.[4][5][6]

Professional wrestling career

Independent Circuit (2015–present)

Kelly made her professional wrestling debut in March 2015 in a tag team match where she and Devyn Nicole lost to Amanda Rodriguez and Amber O'Neal.[7] In June 2015, Kelly was defeated by Kiera Hogan.[8] In May 2016, she was defeated by Kimber Lee.[9] In December 2016, she defeated Tessa Blanchard.[10] In August 2017, she defeated Leva Bates.[11]

In September 2016, Kelly made her Women Superstars Uncensored debut were she and Nevaeh lost to Samantha Heights and Brittany Blake.[12] At Breaking Barriers 4, she defeated Penelope Ford and Renee Michelle.[13]

In August 2017, she defended her Shine Nova title against Jordynne Grace.[14]

In December 2017, Kelly, Cheerleader Melissa and Mercedes Martinez defeated Laurel Van Ness, Delilah Doom and Deonna Purrazzo.[15]

In April 2018, Kelly made her DDT Pro-Wrestling debut were she, Toru Owashi and Kazuki Hirata were defeated by Saki Akai, Yukio Sakaguchi and Masahiro Takanashi.[16]

World Wrestling Network (2016–present)

In September 2016, Kelly made her Shine Wrestling debut at Shine 37 defeating Dominique Fabiano. Later that night, Kelly and Fabiano were defeated by then Shine Tag Team Champions, Jayme Jameson and Marti Belle.[17] At Shine 39, Kelly was defeated by Malia Hosaka.[18] In July 2017, Kelly became the inaugural Shine Nova Champion after winning the Shine Nova Championship Tournament were she defeated Veda Scott in the first round, Leah Vaughan in the second round, Kiera Hogan in the semi finals, and Candy Cartwright in the tournament finals.[19] At Shine 46, she defeated Santana Garrett to retain the Nova championship.[20] At Shine 49, Kelly lost the Nova title to Candy Cartright.[21] At Shine 51, she defeated Holidead.[22]

In January 2017, Kelly made her Full Impact Pro debut in a loss to Aria Blake.[23] At Heatstroke 2017, Kelly successfully defended her Shine Nova championship against Stormie Lee.[24][25]

In May 2017, she made her Evolve debut at Evolve 95, losing to Allysin Kay.[26]

She made her Style Battle debut defeating Dani J in August 2017.[27]

WWE (2018)

On July 30, 2018 it was announced that Kelly would be a participant in the second WWE Mae Young Classic.[2][6] However, she lost against Deonna Purrazzo in the first round.

Personal life

Kelly is of Romanichal descent.[28]

Kelly got into professional wrestling through her younger brother.[29][6]

Kelly is engaged to fellow professional wrestler Darby Allin.

Professional wrestling persona and style

Kelly's in ring persona was initially based on her past being on My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding where she used the nickname of "Gypsy Princess" or "Gypsy Queen".[29][30][1] However, since then her persona has adopted more of a gothic, and sexual tone. Kelly's in ring persona is now more based on a succubus.[31][30][29] She also uses the nickname "Hell's favorite harlot"[1] to further her sexual persona. Kelly is also known for using tactics like biting and licking during her matches as a way to psyche out her opponents as well as further her character.[2][29] Kelly has often been compared to WWE wrestler, Paige in terms of their appearances.[30][29] As well as being a professional wrestler herself, she also is a valet where she most notably valets Austin Theory.[32][33]
