Preetha Vijayakumar is an Indian film actress in the Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu film industrys. Her parents are noted actors Vijayakumar and Manjula.[1] She is married to Tamil film director Hari.
Career
Preetha had first signed up to portray the leading role in Ravi Raja Pinisetty's Telugu film Rukmini opposite Vineeth in 1997, but delays meant her Tamil projects released first.[2]
Personal life
She was born as Preethi Vijayakumar but opted to change her first name to Preetha to avoid confusion with other actresses, Preity Zinta and Preeti Jhangiani.
