Predrag Šarić (born November 20, 1959) is a Croatian former professional basketball player who played for Šibenka, Zadar and Triglav Rijeka.[1]

Playing career

Šarić in his career played for Šibenka in 1980s with Dražen Petrović.[2] With Šibenka, Šarić became the Yugoslav First League champion in 1982/83 season. He also was with Šibenka in two times in FIBA Korać Cup against Limoges. In two times, Limoges won.[2]

Later, Šarić played for Zadar and Triglav Osiguranje Rijeka. With Zadar, Šarić played EuroCup in 1992-93 season.[1] In Triglav Rijeka he played with famous players Danko Cvjetičanin and Mario Primorac. With Triglav, he played Korać Cup in 1994-95 season.

Personal life

Šarić is married to retired professional basketball player Veselinka Šarić who played for Croatian women's basketball club Elemes Šibenik.[2] His son, Dario, is a Croatian professional basketball player who plays for the Croatian national team and the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA. His daughter, Dana, is also a basketball player who currently plays for Croatia women's national under-16 basketball team.[2]
