Precious Fathers is a Vancouver-based instrumental post-rock shoegazer ensemble,[1]/[2] with members linked to other projects such as Destroyer, Loscil, Sparrow and The Battles.[3] Their music combines pulsating rhythms with multiple guitar effects and dynamic volume shifts.[4]

History

In 2005 Precious Fathers released their self-titled first album.[5] Their second album, Alluvial Fan, was released in 2009.[6][7]
