Post micturition convulsion syndrome
Micturition Convulsion syndrome (only referred to as a “pee shiver” or “piss shiver”) is a small jerk, most commonly in men during or after a long awaited urination.[1] It is experienced by mostly males with a very small percentage of female experiencing a similar thing.
Theories
- The most plausible theory, found by a number of scientists, is that the shiver is a result of the autonomic nervous system (ANS) getting its signals mixed up. The ANS is a control system for involuntary muscle contractions and affects things like the heart rate and respiration, digestion, body temperature and urination.[2]
Studies
Several studies by companies have documented pee shivers.
