Ponsiano Ngabirano, is a wealthy businessman and entrepreneur in Uganda. He is the founder, chairman and managing director of Capital Shoppers Supermarkets, a supermarket chain based in Kampala, Uganda, which he partly owns.[2] In 2012, the New Vision newspaper listed him among the wealthiest individuals in the country.[1]

In addition to the shareholding in Capital Shoppers Supermarkets,[3][4] Ngabirano and members of his family own large chunks of land inside and outside Kampala.[5]
