Ponnurukkum Pakshi is a 1992 Indian Malayalam film, directed by Adoor Vaisakhan, starring Suresh Gopi and Sunitha in the lead roles. [1][2][3]
Plot
Anathan is in love with Amminikutty. She is the daughter of Bhaskaran Nair. Vasu is their neighbor. He is pompous in nature. Keshavankutty is his son. Keshavankutty was away from his village for sometime and have returned with some cash. He has eyes on Amminikutty for sometime. One day he attacks her at night and robs her chastity. This destroys her life and Anathan is also distraught. Later Anathan comes to know about the truth and tries to make a retributive justice. In the end Keshavankutty fearing for his runs away from the village, and Anathan and Amminikutty unites again.
