Polystachya farinosa is a species of flowering plant in the orchid family, Orchidaceae. It is native to Cameroon and São Tomé Island. This forest epiphyte has not been collected from Cameroon since 1968 and its population on São Tomé Island is sparse and little known.[1]

The species name etymology of farinosa is from the Latin for "floury".
