Point Southworth

Point Southworth lies on Kitsap Peninsula on the western side of the northern entrance to Colvos Passage in Puget Sound. The point is high and wooded.

A Washington State Ferries dock is about 0.2 miles northwest of Point Southworth, in the community of Southworth, Washington.

Point Southworth was named by Charles Wilkes, during the Wilkes Expedition of 1838-1842, in honor of Edward Southworth, one of the expedition's quartermasters.[1]
