Plebejus sephirus, also known as Kretania sephirus, is a butterfly found in the East Palearctic (East Europe, Caucasus, Asia Minor) that belongs to the blues family.
Description from Seitz
L. sephyrus Friv. (78 h). Very close to the preceding [L. pylaon] , but almost twice the size, the underside dull grey, the red anal spots not so bright golden-red, but duller red like red lead. From the Balkan Peninsula, Asia Minor, and Armenia.[2]
