Picture Show (magazine)

Picture Show was a film magazine, published in the United Kingdom between 3 May 1919 and 31 December 1960,[1] and thus one of the longest running film entertainment magazines in United Kingdom.
Overview
Picture Show was launched in 1919.[2] It was founded by Amalgamated Press as a weekly magazine.[3] The magazine was owned by Odhams Press from the early 1930s to 1960.[2] In 1939 the magazine absorbed another magazine, Film Pictorial.[2]
