Phyllonorycter lantanella is a moth of the Gracillariidae family. It is found in all of Europe, except Scandinavia, Ireland and the Balkan Peninsula.

Larva
The wingspan is about 9 mm. There are two generations per year with adults on wing in May and again in August.[2]
The larvae feed on Viburnum lantana, Viburnum opulus, Viburnum tinus and Sorbus aucuparia, mining the leaves of their host plant. They create a lower-surface tentiform mine between two side veins. Pupation takes place within the mine without a recognisable cocoon[3]
