Phonon is a cloud telephony company in Asia.[1][2] It was founded in October 2006 by Samish Makhija and Ujwal Makhija, who are alumni of IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Calcutta.[3] It provides Automated Outbound Diallers,[3] and Click-to-Call for instant call back from websites.[4][5]

Customers

The industries where Phonon has a good presence in terms of customer base includes BFSI, Travel, and Airlines. It is used by Kingfisher Airlines[3] and Rediff.Com.[4] Full service airline, Vistara in January 2017 implemented Phonon's 22North Unified Communication Solution for flight advisories.[6]

Awards

In November 2016 Phonon was awarded the #400 spot on Deloitte's 2016 Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific List[7] as well as the #47 spot on Deloitte's 2015 Technology Fast 50 India List.[8][9]

In September 2016 Phonon was awarded with the Red Herring Top 100 Asia award.[10]
