Philodendron cordatum, commonly called the Heart Leaf Philodendron for its 2-4 inch heart-shaped leaves,[1] is an epiphytic and epilithic species of Philodendron endemic to southeastern Brazil and Argentina. This philodendron is typically a vining plant and can tolerate shade.[2] Despite its toxicity (similar to other philodendrons) it is popular as a houseplant in temperate regions.[1]
