The Philippine half centavo coin (½¢) was a denomination of Philippine currency. It was minted only by the under sovereignty of the United States of America. The coin was the shortest-lived minted coin in Philippine history with over 4 years of minting of this coin. The half centavo has now worth PHP 0.25 (the exchange rate of US dollars to Philippine peso in 1904 was 1:2).
