Philip A. Glotzbach, Ph.D. (born 7 July 1945), is an American educator who is the president of Skidmore College. Glotzbach graduated summa cum laude in 1972 with a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and earned a Ph.D. from Yale University in 1979.[1][2] He became Skidmore's seventh president in 2003.[3] His biggest initiatives include the implementation of the College's Strategic Plan titled "Engaged Liberal Learning: The Plan for Skidmore College 2005-2015", a revised campus master plan, and a capital campaign that has raised more than $200 million.
